Stan Woodland’s career in the industry began over 30 years ago as a highly motivated media research analyst for Media-Chek and then as leadership of the internal media planning/buying group at SmithKline Beecham (now GSK). Stan realized the need to provide clients with leveraged media buying expertise, and in the years since has seen his vision realized through innovations that have completely changed the industry. Stan’s goal is to foster a culture that moves media from tactical to strategic, driving business for clients.

Susan Dorfman

Dr. Susan Dorfman is responsible for Customer Insights, Innovation, Technology, Customer Development, Customer Relationship Management, and Corporate Marketing. Susan is a Doctor of Health Administration, a published author, and an industry speaker with strong connections to both the healthcare and life sciences industries. When Compas understands our clients’ audiences better than they do, Susan has done her job.

James Woodland

Chief Operating Officer

In James Woodland’s oversight of all internal operational functions for Compas, he is responsible for assuring our teams are equipped with the right environment, tools and technologies to deliver excellence to our clients. He is passionate about launching Compas into the future of media. His goal is to foster a corporate culture that demonstrates innovation and excellence.

John Donovan

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, John Donovan’s primary responsibility is the financial oversight of our company, including financial reporting and controls, strategic planning, and contract administration. His role is to be the strategic rudder, providing guidance to the executive committee for all significant corporate decisions, as well as maintaining all accounting, legal, insurance, and banking relationships.

Nicole Woodland-DeVan

SVP, Buying Services and Deliverables

Nicole Woodland-DeVan oversees all of Compas’ current and near future media buying execution and client service activities. She also works closely with our CEO to delve into an extensive analysis of media buying in the future. The process and procedures her team follows allows us to help our clients not only save money but get the most ROI from their media plans.
